I've been a part of the Columbus and the Valley community for more years than I am willing to admit.  I remember when I was little saying to my Mom, "There's nothing to do!"  At that time, Mom was the event calendar and she always had a great list of things to choose from, so she would dispel that thought and keep us entertained.  Then as I ventured into  my teens years it was no longer cool for Mom to be the event calendar.  There was no internet (oops, am I giving away my age?), so my friends became the event calendar.
